Spied: 2012 Chrysler 300C

Meet the new Chrysler 300C. These latest spy shots leave little to the imagination, completely revealing the facelifted car’s new look. Our spies captured the newcomer being filmed for a promotional video, hence the complete lack of camouflage.

At the front, the 300C features a toned-down, less monolithic nose than the one that dominates the current car. There is still chrome in abundance, but the more rounded bonnet and grille soften the car’s appearance. The headlights are new too, and feature C-shaped Led daytime running lights.

The car’s taillights have also been tweaked, and there’s a new chrome strip which runs beneath the bootlid. Expect the interior to see a number of changes too, mostly involving improved trim materials.

The car shown here is in full US-spec, so expect a little less chrome on the UK model which goes on sale early next year. The car is due to debut in 2010 – with the LA Show just around the corner, this seems most likely.

In the US, the car gets a 3.6-litre V6 and 5.7-litre V8. However, the UK model is likely to stick with the 3.0-litre V6 diesel available with manual or auto gearboxes. For more details click here.
