Cast metal fender tips are polished and chrome-plated to a brilliant finish for a classic look. It's the same thing as the previous Road Star Midnight, except it's no longer black. It's "Charcoal Silver" with ghost flames. The factory flame job is evidence that Yamaha wants to offer classier paint to better compete with Harley.
The Road Star Midnight has is now discontinued. Or at least, think of the Road Star S as the Midnight, but with different paint. Otherwise, it has the same chrome accents that the Road Star Midnight came with, chome controls, chrome levers, chrome forks.
